We are actively planning a massive migration from Alertmanager to native Grafana Alerts! Alertmanager is still running the show for now, but be aware that this workflow will be leveling up in the near future.

Alertmanager is the central notification dispatcher for our entire observability stack. Instead of spamming you with a raw notification every single time a metric spikes, Alertmanager intelligently groups, deduplicates, and routes alerts directly to the correct communication channels. 🤫

🗂️ Alert Categorization

To keep our notifications sane and actionable, alerts are strictly categorized:

• 🔥 Severity: Classified as critical, warning, or info.
• 🌍 Environment: Tagged with production, staging, or development so you know the exact context.
• 🏷️ Service Labels: We use tags like service and team to pinpoint exactly which component is misbehaving.
