π Viewing and Managing Active Alertsβ
While you cannot edit global routing rules, you have full power to view and manage active alerts directly through the UI!
- Jump into Alertmanager.
- Check the main dashboard to see all currently firing alerts neatly grouped by their labels.
- π€« Silencing: Is an alert already a known issue your team is fixing? Click Silence to temporarily mute notifications for that alert group. Your teammates will thank you for reducing the alert fatigue!

π Requesting Routing Changesβ
Alert routing (deciding which alerts blast to which Slack channels or emails) is handled globally by the infra team.
Currently, developers have read-only access to routing configurations. You don't have to worry about configuring routing for your apps!
Need a change? If your team spun up a new Slack channel, or you need specific service alerts sent to a new destination, just ping the infra team and they will adjust the global configuration for you. π€
