Blackbox Exporter Guides

Adding a New Endpoint to Monitor

Endpoints are not discovered automatically by the Blackbox Exporter. To instruct the exporter to start probing a new URL, create a Pull Request here with your new or modified endpoint rule and notify Infra team to review and apply the upgrade.

Once merged, Prometheus will automatically reload the configuration and the Blackbox Exporter will begin probing your endpoint.
